Menindee Floods / 2022
Menindee (NSW)

In late 2022, Menindee experienced flooding, a part of the ongoing pattern of changes in the Darling-Baaka River. The river has historically seen a continuous cycle of fluctuations, influenced by both natural factors and human activities shaping its course. T hese fluctuations underscore the difficulties faced by river-dependent communities as they navigate a constantly changing environment, often influenced more by political interests and human intervention than by the river's natural flow patterns.
